Two guys may have bypassed security and walked right into the E3 Conference. Reddit user DoYouWantAunts posted his E3 adventures online and it’s a hilarious tale of a gamer with nerves of steel.
Apparently DoYouWantAunts and his friend did some research on the food service set up at E3 and decided that going to the convention dressed as part of the food service staff was the best bet for getting into the show.
After sometime trying to find parking the duo decided that the parking garage was the best point of entry.
A guard questioned the pair but after explaining that they were temp hires and running late to get to the Galaxy Lounge the guard was persuaded to let them in. Once inside the name of the catering service was obtained and that information was used to get yet another person to walk the two through another security checkpoint.
If your dressed like wait staff you may have to take orders, and that’s exactly what took place. A woman gave the faux waiters an order, and not to be bad stewards of the costumes they had borrowed the pair delivered the order to the kitchen where they underwent another round of questioning but managed to avoid suspicion.
After almost getting kicked out for lack of badges in the Nintendo/Sony room the duo made for broke, and casually strolled into the main conference room with a crowd of people.
In the words of a true gamer
It was an amazing feeling being surrounded by the sets for games like Marvel vs. Capcom to Shadow of War. But most importantly we got to see the Destiny 2 set up and watch a bunch of gameplay. The best thing about all of this was getting to go on a fun/risky trip with one of my best friends and it only cost us a parking fee of $4 to attend E3 for free.
These two gamers proved that where there’s a will there’s a way, and with nerves like these who needs tickets? You can see DoYouWantAunts original post here.
