The not so well-kept secret of the next Assassins Creed game, Assassins Creed Origins, was finally revealed at E3 this week. This is the first Assassins Creed entry since Syndicate 2 years ago as Ubisoft wanted to take a step back from the series due to franchise interest and sales seeing a decline. The game is set to be released on October 27th 2017 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with full 4K support on PS4 pro and the newly revealed Xbox One X which will be released a little later on November 7th. Sadly no Nintendo Switch version has been announced as yet.
EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT ORIGINS
Plot details so far centre around a young assassin named Bayek in the Egyptian setting of Thebes in 1354.
Gameplay revealed during the Ubisoft E3 event showed the classic AC gameplay we all know and love with some new mechanics including the use of an eagle to mark enemies and plan strategies and plenty of parkour up and down the pyramids.
